  I'm a fairly liberal person on most issues. I voted for Obama. In green terms I really do try to conserve energy and resources in every reasonable way possible. I recycle almost all of my trash. I am particularly passionate about rain forest and species preservation because once those are lost, they cannot be replaced. I USED to believe in CATASTROPHIC global warming. Now I just believe in incremental global warming, which is a HUGE difference. The reason I believed in CATASTROPHIC global warming is because I was told that the science backed it up and I figured that I could trust in climate scientists to publish unbiased conclusions. After all, science is the lifeblood of our modern lifestyle. However, after researching the ClimateGate scandal, I have been stunned and appalled by the lack of scientific integrity and the blatant, brazen political motivation of many of the most important climatologists of our day (you know, the ones who publish the reports to the UN, etc). After a lot of consideration of both sides of the issue, Ive decided that weve been duped. Scientists of integrity dont play games with their data to achieve desired results, which is apparently exactly what has been happening in the climate field. Anyone with even a rudimentary background in statistics will know that if you know how to play around with data and charts, you can project almost anything that you want the audience to see. However, it is not the purpose of science to promote an agenda, but to <b>...</b>
